Share back- Experiment 3: "Co-Create Long-form Articles with AI Through Dialogue"

💡
For those who missed AI Experiment 3, we invite you to review the following article. This experiment focused exclusively on extended conversations with BoardX Chat to co-create long-form articles, intentionally excluding "board" features to enable users to focus purely on idea-sharing and article creation. We received some submissions and held a share-back session to discuss them. AI Experiment 3 remains internal as we continue to process feedback. Based on these insights, we’re designing AI Experiment 4, which will introduce new features. One of the key learning is that we should add a kick off session for event to make sure the participants fully understand the event.

BoardX Supports Education- Teaching Chinese as a Second Language

Many industries are reaping the benefits of AI applications. However, the education sector, especially teachers, has yet to begin to leverage AI tools to enhance teaching preparation and improve students' learning experiences.

Recently, BoardX partnered with West Michigan Chinese Language School. Xiaodan Zhang, focusing on developing BoardX AI agents and tools, has created multiple AI agents specifically for Chinese language education. These tools are particularly beneficial for teachers instructing Chinese as a second language in grade schools, colleges, and weekend Chinese language programs.

These AI agents support the diverse needs of Chinese language teaching, particularly for heritage learners. By addressing various aspects of lesson planning, in-class activities, post-class practice, and cultural enrichment, these agents make Chinese learning more engaging, interactive, and effective.

BoardX Competes in 2025 Tools Competition for $200,000 in Funding!

We’re excited to announce that BoardX has officially submitted its proposal for the 2025 Tools Competition, a program supporting technology that enhances learning and skills development across education and workforce training. The competition offers prestigious awards for impactful solutions, and we’ve entered both the Growth Prize ($150,000) in the Enhancing Post-Secondary Learning Track and the Dataset Prize ($50,000).

Our proposal highlights BoardX’s role in fostering collaborative, AI-driven learning experiences, specifically targeting higher education and corporate training, which includes support for personalized, multimodal learning to improve engagement and skill retention. Winning these awards will further BoardX’s capacity to scale our mission, enabling broader adoption and advancements to our open-source platform.

A special thanks to our funding champion Nicole Afton for her preparation of the proposal and  Usam and Dr. Yong Xu for their invaluable contributions in shaping our submission. We’ll be seeking additional grants and competitions to further support our growth, and as part of this process, we encourage each team member to have a bio on file to highlight relevant expertise.

Stay tuned! The next steps include waiting for the competition’s review results, and we’ll share updates as they come. For more details on the Tools Competition, visit Tools-Competition.org.
