Exploring AI's Role in Higher Education: BoardX Insights
BoardX continues to support education, from Michigan Chinese Language Schools to higher education and beyond.
This week, BoardX met with professors from Ferris State University's fields such as accounting, media, statistics, and engineering to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence in higher education. This dynamic session revealed the potential of AI to enrich both teaching and learning experiences.
Workshop Highlights:
BoardX opened with a compelling overview of AI's trajectory in education. The discussions underscored AI's potential to act as a teaching assistant and personalized tutor, assisting in class planning and activity design. There is significant interest in AI's ability to create engaging educational content, like TikTok-style summaries, to captivate students.
Key Insights:
- AI as a Facilitator: Participants advocated for AI to guide, not just provide answers, ensuring students develop critical thinking skills.
- Content Enrichment: There was enthusiasm for AI's role in enhancing teaching materials and generating creative, humorous learning aids.
- Responsible Use: Emphasis was placed on teaching students ethical and intelligent AI tool usage.
- Information Security: Ensuring data confidentiality remained a top priority.
The workshop's insights will drive BoardX's mission to seamlessly integrate AI into education, transforming it into a collaborative learning partner. We are excited to journey with educators as AI reshapes the future of higher education.
BoardX Supports Small Organizations
Harness the Power of Storytelling with BoardX and Ghost CMS
Last year, during our Innovation Workshop, we explored the pressing challenges faced by Chinese language schools (CLS) in the US. A key insight was that effective marketing is critical for these organizations—not only to raise awareness but also to secure financial stability by attracting more students and donors. Marketing not only impacts revenue but also enhances community connections through storytelling and co-creation, fostering a supportive network.
The workshop revealed that by adopting storytelling and design thinking, CLS can redefine community relationships and strengthen financial and emotional ties. This dual benefit positions marketing as a vital strategy. Once integrated, BoardX can enhance daily operations and promote innovation and collaboration, nurturing both regular and advanced users for growth.
The Solution: BoardX + Ghost CMS
BoardX, in partnership with Ghost CMS, enhances storytelling by merging AI collaboration with efficient content management. This integration simplifies article creation and social media distribution, allowing schools to produce engaging content effortlessly.
The Pilot Program
We're launching a pilot with the West Michigan Chinese Association and the Grand Rapids Chinese Language School, each investing $300 in Ghost CMS to elevate their storytelling. This program aims to:
- Streamline storytelling for small organizations
- Test Ghost CMS and BoardX integration
- Measure improved storytelling's impact on engagement
Scaling Potential
Success could extend benefits to 500 CLS in the U.S., 1.8 million nonprofits, and millions of Ghost CMS users globally. Through this program, we aim to redefine how small organizations connect with their communities, making their stories accessible and inspiring. Our pilot is just the start. By showcasing AI-driven collaboration and Ghost CMS, we're paving the way for a scalable, sustainable solution for storytelling in education and beyond.

AI Agents: The Next Chapter in Storytelling (and Beyond)
We're excited to introduce a new way to work with AI: agents. These are customized AI assistants designed to tackle specific tasks in your workflow, moving beyond the one-size-fits-all approach. They empower you to automate and enhance exactly what you need.
Transforming Storytelling
Let’s dive into a creative application: using AI agents to enhance storytelling. Imagine an agent that turns a written story into a presentation—a task that usually demands a lot of human effort.
While the video demonstrates a more technicla side of the process, the essence is simple. Here's a quick look at how it works:
- Story Analysis: The agent reviews your story, suggesting themes and templates.
- Collaborative Feedback: You provide feedback to refine the presentation.
- Final Output: It generates a detailed outline, ready for you to finalize.
Expanding Horizons
Beyond presentations, AI agents can:
- Boost Blog Writing: Research topics, create outlines, and suggest content, saving you time.
- Streamline Project Management: Schedule tasks, track progress, and update stakeholders automatically.
- Enhance Content Creation: Produce varied content tailored to different audiences or platforms.
AI agents are here to support, not replace, your creativity. By building agents tailored to your needs, you can focus on creativity while AI handles repetitive tasks. This approach speeds up work, boosts efficiency, and unleashes your creative potential.
Stay tuned for more updates and use cases. We'd love to hear your thoughts on using AI agents in your workflow!
